A to Z: N is for Notting Hill Carnival & Not Your Mama's Easter Grass

Hiiiiiiiiiii! It's Thursday, which can mean only one thing - A to Z Day!! This week we are on the letter N.

Seeing as I have played it fairly safe the past couple of weeks' of A to Z, I have gone all-out today, using not one, but two N polishes, and I've even done some stamping as well!

I started with two coats of Nails Inc "Notting Hill Carnival", a happy yellow creme polish:

Then I added one coat of Smitten Polish "Not Your Mama's Easter Grass", an acid green jelly base with greeny holographic glitter, and a layer of top coat (to give a smooth base for the impending stampage):

And finally I stamped a cobweb image from MoYou Pro XL plate 05 using a cheap but brilliant black polish from an eBay job lot, and finished with top coat:

What do you think? I don't suppose everybody will be too keen on this - it is rather obnoxious and Halloween-esque, but I flippin' love it - of all the A to Z manicures I have done so far, this is my favourite.

Now, guess who is still with us....? Mama Bean, yay!! She is back at work again now so can't wear bright colours, but she can just about get away with nudes, so she borrowed Color Club "Nomadic In Nude" from my stash in order to participate. She applied two coats & top coat:

Don't forget to check the A to Z Blog Series Hub Page to see all the other ladies and their lovely manicures, and come back next week for another installment!

Thanks for reading :) x
