Indy's Indies "Rocket!"

Hey friends! I have been on a mini nail polish bender recently. I haven't bought loads and loads and loads but I still seem to be receiving nail mail bit by bit, day by day. One of the pretties I have treated myself to recently is "Rocket!" by Indy's Indies. It is the most colourful, vibrant, happy polish, comprising of a multitude of matte particles - bars, squares, hexes, stars - you name it, they're in there! I have been wearing some quite dark polishes lately, so I chose to layer "Rocket!" over a white creme base (OPI "Alpine Snow") for a happy, jolly, playful look. A little bit of fishing was required for the larger pieces, but application was otherwise easy, and the two coats I applied dried nice and quickly.

Let's look, shall we? Pictures all show two coats of Indy's Indies "Rocket!" over OPI "Alpine Snow", with Essie "Good To Go" top coat.

What do you think? Do you like this type of colourful, matte glitter topper? I love them, and this one is particularly fabulous - I have been beside myself with glee ever since I applied it!

I purchased this polish from Indy's Indies' Etsy shop where there are currently lots of lovely polish babies available (UK shipping only).

Thanks for reading, and come back soon :) xx

Magic Goose Nail Polish Swatches & Review

Hello everybody! Today I have some polishes from a new UK indie brand called "Magic Goose". Magic Goose is run by lovely Emma (whose blog - Imagination In Colour - you may also recognise), and her partnerAndy. I have known Emma through All Things Nails for a little while, and when she contacted me recently to ask if I would review some of her Magic Goose products, I was delighted to say yes.

Shall we get to it, dearlings?

.... The year's last, loveliest smile." (William Cullen Bryant).

Hello friends! Today I have a little themed post for you. We are right in the swing of autumn here in England, and as autumn is my favourite season of them all, I decided to do a blog post as a little tribute to it. Motivated by it having been "Autumn" theme week at All Things Nails recently, I went out and about collecting various items for use as props for my manicures, and thought I'd share my favourite shots with you, along with some of the manicures I produced for the aforementioned theme week. Enjoy! :)
